Mago Pro exists because the tools that were supposed to make running a service business easier — weren't. They were overpriced, slow to update, and built by people who had never spent a day managing a crew, chasing down an invoice, or routing five trucks across a city before 7am.

Ben Jordon knows that world firsthand. For over 15 years he has owned and operated Townhome Landscapes, a landscaping company built from the ground up through hard work and an obsession with doing the job right. While logging 40+ hour weeks in the field managing crews, handling clients, and keeping the operation running, Ben was simultaneously building Mago Pro — writing requirements at the end of long days, testing features on his own business, and solving problems he was living in real time.

That is where Mago Pro comes from. Not a boardroom. The field.

Nine months ago, Ben partnered with Selamawit Elias — a senior full stack developer — and the two have been building at a pace that most software companies can't match. No committees. No bureaucracy. Just two highly skilled, highly motivated people who ship fast and listen to customers.

As we add to our team and Ben transitions out of day-to-day field work and oversight, the pace of development will accelerate dramatically. The features, improvements, and new tiers we release over the next 12 months will reflect what happens when a founder can finally focus entirely on building.
